I was wanting to purchase this because of the features and the price it was being offered for. I decided not too simply to save money and ended up receiving it for Christmas. I was really nervous reading about it and the reviews of people saying that it breaks right away and this and that. Well I installed it about 5 days ago and was very careful with my wiring, installation, and just overall cautiousness when handling it to avoid shock on the unit. I wired it up cleanly and got it installed and looking great. I held my breath while I turned the car on and to my surprise, it was much better than I expected. You have to remember this is Dual, not pioneer or alpine or any other 0 headunit. It’s not going to be “Top of the line”, but it does work more than enough for what it cost that I’ve seen so far. If it does break, I’ll try to claim a warranty repair/replacement or upgrade. But it does seem to be working strong. Previously I only used Pioneer branded audio equipment, so yea the sound might not be as super clean as my old DEH-P510UB pioneer premier headunit, but I’m also driving a honda accord with pioneer speakers and no subwoofer, so I don’t really plan on going to any car shows or anything! Great product, does everything that it says. I am able to play avi files from usb flash drive. It memorize the last position since the last time it was turned off. Picture quality is good on the main screen and ok on the secondary screen. I had to turn up the brightness on the second screen and it looks fine. The headrest strap is a simple velcro strap that goes around the monitor stand and headrest post, simple but works good. I gave it a four star since it does not have build in battery. Buy this product from amazon and get the 3 years warranty, all this for about 8! Can’t go wrong with this one. Read more...

I researched all brands of DVD players for at least two months before deciding on this Panasonic. I know Panasonic is a trusted brand, but I’ve never used any of their car equipment before. After all the research was done, I narrowed it down to just a few top choices. Then I began hunting for the best price. That was where I hit a few walls. I think having a DVD player in the car is great, but is it worth 0…? Not to me. After I came to the realization that I wasn’t willing to pay that much money, my final decision was easy.. the Panasonic. I can’t say enough good things about this product. It does everything that all the other top brands do and for half the price!! I know it might be hard to believe, but it’s true. If you’re in the market for a DVD player, take this one into serious consideration. I’ve been able to compare the picture quality to the other popular brands and this one is just as clear. The only thing I can warn any one about is that there is no GPS system for this player. Panasonic states they have plans for it in the future, but as far as I know now, there is none yet.
